Children who are having difficulty reading aloud sometimes find it helpful to practice their reading with a friendly dog. Katy Girl is an elegant Boxer, certified by the Delta Society, who comes to visit twice a month.  If your child is afraid of dogs and needs time with a gentle one, or simply loves dogs and needs the practice reading, they would also be welcome.
